What Is The Stuff That They Spray On Soccer Players Who Get Injured?

I like watching English Premier League soccer and whenever a guy gets hurt, they always spray something on it. What is it, and what does it do?

Its a pain spray. It’s anesthetic which help the players not feel the pain. But a few a hours after the game they are at home crying.
