   I don’t know who invented it but he was English I think and would have said ‘Football’. He created ‘Football’ the Americans were too lazy to give their own sport its own name.

   Nobody has invented the sport, it just happened.
   Try doing another sport. Like basketball, for example, was invented by Dr. James Naismith.

   there is no guy there are people they names have not been mentioned but england is the birth place of soccer. a similar game to soccer has been play at least 3000 years ago.china,greek ,england and more has played soccer over a thousand years ago..you can look some of this up.just go to yahoo! search and type of the history of science or go to google and type “who really invented soccer” that should help you.
