Question by loveshelpinghands: Looking for a pattern of a skirt made from ties. (men’s ties)?
I seen one in a magazine where the ties were sewn together to make a skirt and need to know whether to open ties up or just sew together.

I’ve made several of these, you could do it either way. If you’re fairly thin, I would say don’t worry about opening them up. If you’re a lil chunky then open them! ;) As for a pattern, I’ve never used one, I just sewed them all together and cut where I needed too for a proper length and waist size. Be sure to put a zipper on somewhere, or you won’t be able to get it on!
