President John F. Kennedy’s inaugural address, 20 January 1961. Both sides seek to invoke the wonders of science instead of its terrors. Let us together explore the stars, conquer the deserts, to eliminate disease, tap the ocean depths and encourage the arts and commerce.   1. @ Skyhawk7040 I hate to say this, because its so overrated, but Ron Paul is very similar to JFK, when it comes to foreign policy and domestic politics is something. IF you actually listen to what he says and not the words, others put in their mouths.

  6. @ Destroyer220 The idea that JFK a brave hero who was a dissident, is a man with a caliber of a total myth. Read, for example, Seymour Hersh’s excellent book “The Dark Side of Camelot,” says the whole story: Both Jack and Bobby Kennedy were most unscrupulous power grabbers who cheated all the way to the top and were determined to stay there, no matter Who had to pay the price.

  11. I used to think that Eisenhower and his mercy towards the expression of the Nazi during the Second World War, was the best president. He, of course, the term “military-industrial complex.” I coined recently opened up to JFK. Democratic, Republican or otherwise does not matter. So many are corrupt these days.
